Title: V50 fork damper removal
Post by: chrisk on August 25, 2015, 03:25:45 PM
Hi, how do I get the end cap off, is it threaded, just pushed in etc? It's really tight and I want to be sure before I start added too much force.

I don't remember but your vice grip are on backwards for loosening. The hinged side should be against the rotation. Those are on there for tightening.

As I recall, that damper is sealed- there's no getting into it. You just attach the rod and spring to the end if memory serves.
