Forgive me for my lack of SB knowledge. I'm curious as to the first year that the V7 had both a metal tank and a single throttle body. Selling my EV in the swap meet and would like get those $ to apply toward a v7
Thanks

Pretty sure that MY2013 was what the single TB models were launched and they all have metal tanks.
The only twin TB model to have a metal tank was the 2012 'Racer' I believe and that only in the USA.

Thanks Pete
Now I can sleep at night

2012 Classics and Racer had metal tank and old motor.
2013 was first year for metal tank and new 1TB engine.

I stand corrected.

The 2012 Classic came in a burgandy redish color with gold tank logo, and I possibly black with gold (not 100% on black). Racers may have also had black tanks that year as well. Transition year for the new tank.

Now for the record didn't the 2012 EU models have the 1TB motor as well? This is why many of the accessories or things like the parts manuals often say 2012+ or 2012-15, the real identifier being they also say "Stone, Special, Racer" and not "V7C".

I believe you are correct sir. As usual, we are a year behind the curve here in the US.

so for the 2012 V7 that with a metal tank but the 2TB motor. is that tank the same spec (like capacity, fuel pump, size etc...)as the 2013 plus?
