I committed to purchasing a sport 1100 from a friend over breakfast at the recent rally in NM. This precipitates my selling my trusty LMIV. While i could keep it, i just dont have the bandwidth or desire to accumulate. I hope it goes to someone here where i can see the joy passed on. Having been pouring over the spine frame chronicals and other threads here which have been invaluable, i am steadfast in my decision to move to the sport. I consider the carb sport im buying as a modern bike, as i remain mired in the 70's and 80's when it comes to motorcycles. As much as i like my lemans, the sport is off the charts for pure looks imo. Hope to see everyone on the spiny soon.

They are a magnificent bike! (But I'm biased). You are going to have an absolute ball. Congratulations.

Its going to be all good. I am blessed to have the opportunity to own a sport, and thrilled to have had the LM4 experience. Had the sport not appeared when it did, i have no doubt i would happily motor into old age on the lemans.
