Great race even in wet conditions.

I think a great race because it was wet.

:1: Wet tracks bring out the best riders + I'm always cheering for the old guys.

I loved it.  Rossi gave everyone a riding lesson.  Especially Marquez.  Written off as washed up, he's still the Doctor.

They showed a quick shot of Lorenzo as he walked into the garage pointing at his eyes with the visor down. Think he was indicating that he couldn't see due to fogging.

HJC his helmet sponsor is going to be ultra pleased about that NOT & the commentators said Lynn Jarvis had warned them that if they chose to get sponsored by a "cheaper" helmet manufacturer to make sure that they "could see out the bloody thing"

I've been following the season, but have been too cheap to subscribe. How does it work? Do you pay MotoGP.com something like $100 to have access to the coverage?

Back on topic- I've been rooting for Rossi all along. Talk about a fighter!  He has clawed his way up through the field so many times this season, you just take it for granted that pole position doesn't much matter to 46. To do this at this level of competition where the riders are all so tightly matched is phenomenal.

BTW- Does anyone know what's going on with homegrown favorite Nicky Hayden?

My HJC helmets can be more fog prone than my Arai-but surely the HJC engineers have seen how easy it is to fix that for a 2 time World Champion.

Hayden has been on a customer Honda, down on power etc and not as friendly as last year's bike. 12th is very good for his circumstance though he was in 10th.

Rumor is he'll be in WSBK next year.

BD- the telecasts are on cable Fox Sports Network.  I have 4 different Fox Sports Channels, it's usually live on Fox1 and recast on Fox2.  Not on either of the Fox regional sports channel.  Not on Fox network either.

the camera coverage was outstanding too! those on board shots showed just what it was like in that rain..

I was on the edge of the chair for the whole race..

Go Rossi, old guys rule.

Uh , Vale is 36 , talk to me when he is 60  But yeah , fun to see him still winning , even though I was in the camp that thought he might have lost a bit .
