With apologies to Stormtruck .
Was sitting on the porch yesterday discussing MCs on the phone with Biking Sailor (surprise huh) . Neighbors across the street came rolling by on their brand spanking new Yamaha Enormoliner . Past observation of the male operator indicates this will not end well , and in a blink , well , it doesn't . He completely blows the low speed right turn into their driveway , and the motorbike is heading straight for a metal fence post . In fact , his path was more to the outside of the end of the fence , and if he had simply chosen to go left the bike would have passed harmlessly to the left of the post and entered an empty lot that is nice and smooth with no debris . Instead , he yanked the bars to the right , slid the front tire in some wet dead grass , and the front tire hit the fence post at about 1/2 mile an hour . The end result being a slow motion high side , depositing rider and passenger on the very soft ground next to the driveway . After a young man helped me right the MC , and checking on the couples well being , he managed to wobble the thing up the driveway , dragging both feet , and almost crashing into their carport . She asked me what I thought , my reply was "don't think this is a good idea" .
Oh , the 2 bears thing , well , they resembled 2 bears falling out of a tree after being shot by tranquilizer darts . Not nearly as graceful as 'Truck's incident at Cedar Vale . The judges awarded Matt all 9's for style , and 8's for difficulty . This was more in the 6 range

REAL bears don't fall out of trees. Those silly little blackies, do though.

You would think a guy riding a section on an Enormoliner would choose his lines more carefully
I was just going over the Tigers shiny black motor parts with a WD-40 rag while she's torn down waiting for a coil and polished up the last remaining reminder of Storm's Cedar Vale incident. I thought of the bear comparison and went to work on the right hand side of the bike  :boozing:

Oh these 2 are silly alright . Unfortunately , his competency on a motorbike is not up to the standards of those cute little bears that ride at the circus . He dropped his last bike repeatedly , and the Enormoliner is at least 200 lbs heavier . This ain't gonna end well . Oh , this is the same guy that warned me about using the front brake , "It'll flip ya over forward" .

They might park it in the garage for a few years. in ten years someone will get a low milage bargain.
I picked up a Goldwing that way, just 350 (3,5,0) kM in 20 years

Please tell me: what sort of animal is dubbed "Yamaha Enormoliner"? Something Goldwing-ish?

Nope , it is a 750 LB HD clone cruiser . Actually an attractive MC in a retro sort of way .

Forgot to mention that Rocker likes them , seems our fearless mod has a weakness for big ol cruisers  Thanks for the pics Mike , guess it really should be identified as a "Star MC" , and not a Yamaha .

Well, I wouldn't think so.
One of the iconic indications of the egoism and bread-and-circuses stupidity of 21st Century Man is the image of people standing around an accident, tragedy, or disaster taking pictures with their little phones (or worse, selfies with the accident in the background) instead of turning to and helping the people that are hurt ....
