A bunch of us were thinking we should have a get together September 12th in Vancouver BC or perhaps mid way to Chilliwack a hotbed of Guzzi activity,
Anyone on here interested?

Do a loop of Stanley Park at sunrise, then head out to Chilliwack!
And remember, vote early, vote often, and vote New Democrat!

Then the next weekend, come up to Nakusp for the Rocky Mountain Motogiro!

Sorry Roy, I would have, but i think I am going to head the other direction, and meet up with Dean and a bunch of Guzzi riders around Castlegar and vicinity, with the similar intention of celebrating World Guzzi Day. I live about halfway between the two events it seems.

Ahh Roy ............ Sounds like an excellent plan, unfortunately I will be half way through a trip down through the U.S on that date.
If you end up doing it after the 18th I can possibly attend.

Not wanting to hijack, but I want more info on the Rocky Mountain Motogiro! Is there a website or something? I know where, and now when...lol I would love to spectate this year, but I could see getting a bike for this in the future! I hear there is a very limited number of entries?

Here you go:

Last year it was fabulous. I didn't have a small-bore for the event, but just rode along on the "endurance" section on my roundcase Ducati and then watched the hill climb. Delightful roads in the Kootenays, especially 31A between Kaslo & New Denver - check it out on Google maps & here:

LOL...it's my backyard. I was riding 31A in the eighties when there was never another bike to be seen...and I would be lucky to meet one vehicle the entire trip.
Thanks for the link...I will go check it out.

Bump.
The current plan is to meet at Bruce's past Maple Ridge for breakfast then motor out to Stave Lake for 10:00 - 11:00
Of course anyone coming from the opposite direction e.g. Chilliwack should make different arrangements

We had 6 riders total in Castlegar today. It was a great ride, and it was great to meet new Guzzi people!
