I'm guessing you'd have to slip the fork tubes up in the clamps about 2-3" if using the loop steering stem.. then you could mount some heli bars or even spine frame handle bars above the top clamp.

Use the EV stuff, make a spacer washer for the one on top of top bearing set.

I'm doing my LM3 w/a 95 Sport forks right now.

Remember the EV-Eldo that was done up at MI, way back time machine.

I'm planning on it. Rob Dentico was going to make up some stem but got busy. I talked to a Chicago guzzi guy who did something similar but just ordered a bushing to put the smaller diameter stem into the larger diameter hole.
I'm still busy getting my sidecar back together and moving a tool shed.
Retirement is taking up all my time.
I'm also trying to fit a 98 EV front end on my SPII.

greg field did it while he was at moto international. IIRC, the triple clamps had a bunch less offset than the stock loop triple clamps. That way the top of the forks and their damping adjusters actually nestled in the scooped out area along side the ignition switch spot (I believe he had a police cluster, so perhaps he hadn't done the switch mod, but if you think early ambo cluster, you'll know what I mean). He must have had custom mounts for the instrument cluster, as the normal forward mounts into the top of the fork caps was not there.

Seems like I remember him telling how on here, but a quick search didn't find it. I'm packing for Ohio, no time to research..
