Hi, other than the fuel tank, mudguards, side panels, seat, are there any differences between the two?
Things like the frame, gearing, seat, foot pegs, engine, carbs etc, reason is I'm after a v65 in the UK and can only find a custom.
I've checked my manual but it doesn't cover the v65c.

Hi, a late reply, but for future readers may be useful.
Among other things the length of the drive shaft (U-joint) is different between v65(SP) and v65C. It's 285mm and 310mm respectively.

The rear wheel/tire sizes are different, the V65C has a fat 16"

If you have a workshop manual, it's a V50C w/V65 motor in it. I worked on them w/new model in 84. There was only a supplement for the V65C not a whole manual. The trans may have different gearing also. All the bodywork was different, swingarm, etc. Read my 1st sentence. Rear drives did not have the updated oil hole drilled.
