Title: 1980 v50 mkIII
Post by: lucian on September 04, 2015, 05:06:33 PM
A fella nearby is selling his v50, 17,500 miles in very good condition, no dents or corrosion, has two brand new delorto carbs and new tires. He wants 2,950 but will consider offers. Anyone know what it's worth? tia  Dave

Love me some small block!
That asking price means he wants, and expects to get $2500.
Offer less but if you can get it for 25 Bens, then go for it.

Thanks Charlie, no pics unfortunately. The bike is still at the local dealer where he had new carbs installed. It seems the slides were stuck on the originals  and they didn't want to spend the time rebuilding them. Too bad as they racked up a good bill there,I wish I could of got it as is. It is in remarkable clean condition though. It is a MKIII with points, I rode down yesterday and had a look.
