Picked up a Diavlo Nero wreck in Queensland this morning. Hopefully a roller engine, I'll slip it into the green bike and then go through my lump top to bottom. I think it could benefit from cam chains, maybe rings and a top end freshen up and I want to re-size my rods just in case.
$2,150, Bargain! I'm stoked!

Good score.
There's an opening for a "rod length" joke for someone brave enough :clock:
-
You should put the engine is a V-7 frame!! (sorry- I just had to say it..)
-
Gurgle!
-
Wayne picked my wrecked bike up and whipped the rocker cover off one side for me.

So if you bob the rear fender, put a springer front end on it and put a 2 gallon peanut tank on it you will be in heaven!!!

Needs a Russell Day Long seat..... :boozing:

It's front mudguard is already busted so I just need to take that off, fit a couple of tractor tyres and angle grind the bejasus out of the frame and it'll be the sweetest looking hipster 'Off Roader' ev-errrr! :violent1:

No No, not where the scars will show.
Seriously, was the damage so major that only the donk is usable or do you think it could be reincarnated after the donor motor has done it's job?
-
Flat tappets may have prevented that wreck.
-
As a statutory write off it can never be reincarnated, at least not here. I *might* be able to pull a swiftly in the ACT, not certain. As it is I'm in no hurry. I could probably register it in NZ! There's a thort!

Not sure on the write-off legislation out here Pete. It has to have the required frame nos. etc, and it would probably have to undergo some sort of rigorous inspection no doubt. I guess if you really wanted to find out I would think that the Land Transport dept. could help you out.
