Title: University of Hawaii VS Ohio State University in Columbus.

 :grin:  My older brother and I were born in Dayton.  When I heard that "they" were to play a football game in the Horseshoe.  I had a good chuckle.  I have a shooting match to take the team to but will follow the game when I can.

When was the last time a team got into triple digits? Who comes up with these matches anyway?

The spread is somewhere around 40.  I'm hoping for 60.

I don't gamble so don't care about the spread. As for who do the match making.  Don't know but seems like a David vs Goliath match up.

If the spread is only 40 its cause people are expecting OSU to back off and not completely humiliate Hawaii. I expect them to run the score up big in the first half (for ranking purposes) and then back off. My prediction would be something like 85-10 final score.

Does anyone here happen to recall the point spread in the Michigan/Appalachian State game in 2007?

 Excellent point , and what about the 2007 Fiesta bowl where no one gave Boise State a chance against the university of Oklahoma .

It has a lot to do with the smaller schools & players getting national exposure & part of a larger purse/tv money.
