Interesting that on World Guzzi day , a pair of Italian female tennis players square off for the US open tennis title . Pretty good day for Italy , and congrats to Flavia Pennetta for winning . Neither one of these ladies were on anyone's radar , could it have anything to do with all of us thinking about Italy today ?

Forza!
No way that's a coincidence.
Well spotted, Dusty!

Flavia Pennetta... Bellissima!
I wonder if there's less of that awful grunting with Italians on the DecoTurf? I'd like to assume there's a bit more dignity with the donnas but who knows...

I noticed that after they relaxed about midway through the first set, they started with the grunting. Or in Vinci's case, shouting "hey!" with every hit.
But they were both graceful in winning and defeat. Serena is the best female player of all time, but she could learn a couple things from the Italians about sportsmanship.
And if 34 year old Roger Federer can win tomorrow, it will be a regular AARP weekend at Flushing Meadows!
