Title: Tire suggestions for 2010 V7 Cafe
Post by: Bearclaw on September 13, 2015, 12:20:54 AM
Its time for some new tires for my 2010 V7 Cafe and I have been trying to find some Pirelli Sport Demons, but I am having some trouble. I can't even see that Pirelli is still manufacturing the 100/90 - 18 size in the Sport Demons. I was wondering if anybody has some suggestions for new tires similar to the Sport demons.   I wasn't really thrilled with the metzlers that came stock on it so a different brand would be preferable.

Cheers.

I have Michelin Pilot Activ tires on my 2010 V7C.  I am happy with them.

The Pirelli's are readily available from any of the big online supply outlets. They are a big improvement over the Metzler's. They have been the OEM tire for several years now. Michelin's are good too, I got good mileage with them, maybe a little less sticky than the Demon's. Just put on a new set of Pirelli's, but thinking about trying Avon's next time. Hard to go wrong with any of the European brands.
