Title: Current-V7 Throttle Locks
Post by: MGPilot on September 15, 2015, 10:01:29 AM
When I search the Throttle Meister site, am only seeing older MG's listed.

Given the current versions of the V7, what throttle locks are you using? Would you buy it again?

Thanks.

To be honest, the throttle is so light on my new 2014 V7 Special that I haven't even thought about a throttle lock.

I do use a Throttle Rocker on my Sport 1100, but I'll bet the pull weight is easily twice what the V7 is.

Got one of these this year works great. Just switch it from bike to bike.

I put one one my 2013 Stone last April. This is the one I got and it fits. I don't use it often but it works great when I do use it.

I use this one on all my bikes, made by a guzzista here in Sydney. Works well, with the advantage of mechanical simplicity.

I've also used quite happily the Go-Cruise from Aerostich, but it broke on removal after being on the bike some five or six years - operator error.

BTW, stopped by Moto International, Dave said that any ThrottleMeister that fits a Norge will fit a V7 II Stone.  Will try that & post.

Please do.   I've got a Kaoko on my F800GT, and love it.    I'd like to add one to my V7R.
