my wife had the g5 for the week and did a bunch of riding in the rain. i inspected the catch bottle i installed because of oil being thrown at the rear the way it had been routed. at first i thought it just had been expelling oil b/c of hard riding, but after draining the catch bottle (which was just under quarter full and a light brown) i realized the fluid coming out was clear, I'm stumped. the bike has k&n filters on the carbs

Nothing to be stumped about. An internal combustion engine is a water factory. The goal is to operate hot enough so that the exhaust and blow-by gases do not condense. A cold catch bottle is the perfect place for water vapors from the motor to condense.
