Just bought this bike and am unfamiliar with Guzzi. Want to make sure if I'm missing parts, and current status of parts which may have been replaced.
Is the fuel hose shown what comes from the factory, or did previous owner replace already?

Is there supposed to be anything that connects to the battery strap at the rear, or is the hole for application on a different model? And no, the battery posts will not be against the bracket at final installation.

Thanks, Dean

Yes, and yes.

fuel hose is stock.. battery hold down, looks reversed, I think the hole goes under the tank bolt? maybe.

I think there was a rubber plug that went in the hole and it was sposed to go under the seat release mechanism. Didn't work that well.

That is not a stock sized battery. It works well, just isn't stock size. Thus, the hold-down system is somewhat compromised. I would leave the battery as is and creatively redesign/modify the holding.

I'll work on a creative approach to the battery compartment. I thought it was stopping the seat from properly latching, but after removing the battery holder and tool tray, it still doesn't latch so will have to investigate. Thanks for the comments, Dean

Guess I'm lame but I cannot find the description of what the LED light shown in the photo does. I see it identified as #47 on the schematic calling it 'LED diode light connector (NOT ASSEMBLED)'. I see no reference in the owner's manual or the shop manual, so guess I'm looking in the wrong sections. Harper's only says 'not for sale idividually'. While I'm at it, I assume that is the 15M control module adjacent to it, correct?. Can someone please educate me? Thanks, Dean

I think it might be there to indicate engine fault codes. I never pay any attention to it.

If my Cal special had one, I never noticed it.

There's a method of counting the pulses for stored fault codes. From memory, it involves first sacrificing a chicken..

Thanks, I'll get the manual. I noticed it lit when the key turned on and I could hear the electric fuel pump. I'm definitely gonna start looking for that chicken though......

Only rubber chickens work , and should probably be anointed by Roper to work properly

toukow,
I merged your two Bassa Questions threads. One thread will do for one motorcycle.
