One of the really cool things about it that wasn't even noted is that the materials used to create these tools are among the most widely available in the world - a molecule from anthracite coal! Nothing exotic required. And now they're going to extend the concept to create a nano-scale spring? Major cool factor!

If that's a human torque-wrench, it's limited to about two feet - 30 lbs...
