I was doing work in a factory this week where I saw a large industrial scale for measuring weight. I stepped onto it to see its accuracy, it was spot on with my weight.
So today I topped off my 1200 Sport 6 gal. tank (on the side stand) and rode it there and weighed it......
566 lbs total. The only extra I have on it is a H&B rear rack that is maybe 3 lbs of that.
Gas accounts for 36 lbs of that weight @ 6 lbs per gallon X 6 gallons.

Ouch, that helps explain why mine feels the way it does.

Sounds right to me. I have recorded the weight as (dry) 229 kg = 505 lbs (248 kg = 547 lb wet).

Stock exhaust or aftermarket?
I must have dropped 20 lbs on my '07 Griso changing out the blunderbuss exhaust.
and I've lost 15 easy lbs too. Now I only have 45 lbs to go

I believe it. And, your Sport is about 100# lighter than my Stelvio NTX when both are loaded with fuel, rear cases mounted, the bike is ready to be packed and you're still not sitting on the seat.

That's really lighter than I expected..

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I wonder what percentage of the total weight is made up of the engine, transmission, and CARC?
