Title: Stuck with flat tire near Cookeville TN
Post by: jreagan on October 07, 2015, 03:15:18 PM
Flat rear on my Breva 11.  Ran over a fence staple and got an ugly double hole.  Couldn't plug it.  I have arranged for a tow to Cookeville (Mid State Cycle).  However they aren't sure they have a tool to loosen the rear nut.  Anybody in the area have one we can use?

Spoke with John about the wheel bolts and assured him it only takes a standard metric socket to loosen them.

Make sure the 4 bolts are damn tight. Beaver almost lost the rear tire by not having em tight enough.

Yup.

110Nm, I believe.

I have a m/c buddy (former Norgester, now a Triumph guy) in Cookeville.  Let me know if I need to call him.

Yep, already told the tech 110 for the bolts and 50 for the Caliper.

Thanks all for the help and phone call.

Local shop had a Road Pilot 4 in stock and already have the wheel off.

Great.

Just put first 250 on my new MPR4's on my Norge.  VERY nice.

Hope you'll be similarly pleased.
