Title: Kawasaki kz1300 (Ngc)
Post by: BSABEN on October 10, 2015, 03:36:26 PM
Have a shot at buying a KZ1300. Always been intrigued. Not looking at it as an everyday bike but more of a bike to work on as time allows. Any thoughts on what I should be willing to pay for a decent condition but ridden bike?

"Buy the nicest one you can find"  $3K for the silver one looks good to me.

Always liked the shape of the original KZ1300 gas tank.  :thumb:

I got the opportunity to ride one through the Texas Hill Country in the early 80's.  Fast thing, slowed down to 90 in the corners,  I thought the engine sounded like a nest of angry hornets while it was on full song.  A great motorcycle memory.

I always thought it was a nice looking bike with an ugly engine.
