Title: Lemans 1000 alternator question

anyone know whether the 1990 lemans 1000 came with a bosch or saprisa alternator?

Let's see if I remember correctly. LeMans kept the Bosch while other models got the Surprize.
A LM5 I used to work on had it w/I installed a Silent Hecktik (or however it's spelled) rotor up front.
Some models like the Mille came in both ways.
Hell of a surprise w/you see it for the 1st time and think"Yea Surprise will this stuff be junk?"

The '91 I worked on had a Bosch alternator.

Now that I think about it, I believe it is. I removed a dead Silent Hektik from it. Simon L. is the owner.

got round to checking it... (had no access to bike earlier while researching electronic ignition options)

it is indeed a Bosch
