It's an annual Event !

Next year, it will be the 95th Anniversary of Moto Guzzi. At this time, almost all the people, who were at the Open House an d Meeting 2015, have already made a firm reservation for 2016 !

So, if you have planned to come to Mandello del Lario, to enjoy the magic Lake of Como and to meet more than 20 000 Guzzistis, you have to hurry !!

My brother-in-laws Guzzi club reserves an entire hotel in Mandello for this. I WILL be there next year!

All the Guzzisti are waiting for the exact dates of the Giornate Mondiali Guzzi 2016.....The 95th Anniversary of Moto Guzzi

Some of them have already reserved the second Weekend (9th, 10th and 11th of september 2016)

Other Guzzistis, after looking at the Australian Website (http://www.motoguzziclubvic.asn.au/Mandello%202016.html), have reserved for the third Weekend (16th,17th and 18th of september 2016)

At this time :

Open House 13 - 15.09.2013 - 2nd Weekend

Open House 12 - 14.09.2014 - 2nd Weekend

Open House 11 - 13.09.2015 - 2nd Weekend

Three years along, always the second Weekend........

GMG 2005 - 16 au 18 Septembre : 3rd Weekend

GMG 2006 - 15 au 17 Septembre : 3rd Weekend

GMG 2007 - 14 au 16 Septembre : 3rd Weekend

GMG 2011 - 16 au 18 Septembre : 3rd Weekend

Ten years along, always the third Weekend.......

Some possibilities :

1) Waiting for the exact dates.......
2) You can reserve both weekends, with cancellations's possibility for the wrong one
3) Spend some holidays at the Lake of Como, for example from 9th to 18th of september 2016

I have chosen the second possibility  :laugh:

Thank you for the link. The pictures #8 & #9 bring back long ago memories.  Thank you.
I'd like to think those 2 pictures are of a friend, Peter Zurcher's , 500 single. I've not seen Peter since the late 1988's. We both worked for the same Swiss company, just outside of Zurich, Switzerland. I was with their US branch. The bike pictured here is very much like Peter's bike pictured on page 51 of Mick Walkers "Moto Guzzi" Engineering brilliance from the shores of Lake Como". Osprey Colour Classics. It's that bilious acid yellow/olive book, w/a yellow Sport on the cover. The passage of time may be responsible for the changes, i.e. pillion seat, handle bars, lining; those and a different Swiss license #.  Peter is about my age. I hope he's doing well. What a thrill for me if anyone knows him. TIA. R3~
