It took a good long while, but Haul Bikes delivered this fine 1983 1000 SP this morning. Gotta get the battery charged and see if I like it! It fits well in the garage between the '76 Convert and the '86 Le Mans 1000.

What a beauty! Cheers

The one bike I miss more than all of them. Mine got shortened by a Ford Fairmont, sent the crank back into the trans. Ugly ending to a beautiful relationship. You will enjoy that one.

Lovely classic.

Congrats! I'm fixed for motorcycles, or it would have been sitting in the Guzzi Garage (tm) :)
Certainly one of Guzzi's best..

Beautiful,http://wildguzzi.com/forum/Smileys/default/bow.gif imho, this is the ultimate vintage mg ride. It has the character, grace and the simple, proven reliable, design of my cx,,, but it's a few notches up the comfort scale,,, my butt,,, aches for your bike,,,lol.. well bought.

Nice bike! Enjoy!

That is really gorgeous! I wish someone made that fairing aftermarket for the modern V7s.

Gorgeous bike, LeRoy. I have always liked that color combo. That fairing is supposed to be awesome to ride behind. Did you buy it from a known Guzzisti from WG? Man, that bike is stunning......it just POPS! :thumb: :thumb:

Get a Corbin gunfighter + lady seat and forever forget those memories. I did that over 20 years ago.

It is so awesome that I thought I was going to die riding behind one on a very hot day. It was very calm air, no air movement at all. I rode one back from Cinci for a friend once. 80 degrees and not a clould in the sky..........
Congrats Leroy! that is purty!! :thumb:

Tks for the recommendation,,, but too late,,, after much research and reading many positive reviews,,, I invested in a Stuchi sp? two seater,,, it's a beautiful seat,, and much more comfortable for the passenger,, but after a 150 mile run yesterday, looking at the fall colors, on back road twisties,,, I realize now, that the rider's front portion of the seat is seriously lacking sufficient padding, (I'm about 200 lbs), might try a black sheepskin on it,, if I ever find a deal on one, or maybe one of those wooden bead seat pads(doesn't sound real appealing either, lol)

Beautiful! Congrats!!

Hey, I know that bike, or parts of it.
That's Pete McNulty's old bike that he had for sale at the 2014 VA rally. Except then, it had a big-valve 1100 motor in it ...

Now, it appears to have a stock roundhead 1000 in it.
Anyone know the story on this bike? If the engine re-swap was well done, that would be a nice one for sure.
On the other hand, maybe it would smarter of me to just ask the seller. Duuh. Off we go.

Hey! I think I saw this bike parked outside the Brooks Brothers in Baltimore this morning!
I've seen and older V7 Sport there (black) but this morning I noticed this gorgeous red 1000. I thought to myself... "wow this guy has TWO of these beauties?!?"

I have a nice SP fairing for sale on the Swap meet page.
