Im looking at a Jackal in Syracuse its about 500 miles from my home in Michigan. I dont know much about shipping one or who to use any info appreciated. I have considered renting a truck and going to get it but between the time and money involved wonder if shipping would be better.
Any and all help appreciated Thanks Greg

Greg,
Road trip...!
I personally would go pick it up for a 1000 mile round trip but that's just me.
If that is not in the cards...
Federal Shipping has been very good in my opinion. When you get a quote the price will not change, no surprises. If you are an AMA member they extend a 15% discount as well. Shipping to your door should be reasonable for only 500 miles away.

Give them a call and talk about it or get a quick quote on line.
Best,

Air fare and gas would be much less than 500 bucks. Ride it back across Canada. Its a 6 hour drive to Michigan from Syracuse that way.

Or get Nick 949 to ride it home for you , he loves riding in cold weather , BRR .
Oh , and Jackals are great .

Definitely a fly and ride, take your heated gear and go.

I'm 45 minutes east of Syracuse....If you buy the bike I would be willing to pick it up and haul it back to my place on an open trailer and temporarily store it in my heated shop...You can come at your convenience to pick it up...20 bucks for gas should do it...

Wow lots of good advice and help i appreciate it. I would love to do the fly and ride but the weather is looking so so this next week. Rough Edge thanks for the offer and i just might take you up on that, i have to talk a little more to the seller and then i can make some hard decisions. Thanks Again. Greg

I went to uship.com to ship my V11 LeMans from southern CA to SW MO. Selected CWHaul...and it went flawlessly.
