Hey everyone,
I just took some pics and a video of some of the updates on my 2013 v7 stone (I've done a few things to the bike since my last post and I thought I would post). I hope you like it.
Cheers and safe riding!
P.S...I hope I posted the link correctly! Lol!

Nice! I like it.
Thanks Farmer Dan!

Nicely done. I like that seat with the eagle.
-
Look great!
What's that 'squeaky' sound during the audio portion of the video (when the bike is idling)? I couldn't tell if that was coming from your bike or if the background music is playing at a really low volume during that part.

you did real nice making the bike your own!

Thanks tonUPRacer,
I love the fact that I have 2 seats...one if the wife or kids want to hop on for a short ride, or the other when I'm riding solo!
Cheers,
Chris

Hey Loftness,
The noise is the background music.

Hey Fotoguzzi,
Thanks a bunch...the big reason I chose the stone over the classic or racer was for that very reason...making it my own. I posted this video so that it may give ideas to anyone that may be thinking the same thing.
Cheers and thanks again.

Nice job. Bike looks great. I've been contemplating getting the same seat for my Stone. Definitely gonna get one now after seeing it on your bike. Your setup is basically what I want mine to be like.
Thanks for posting

Fantastic!

Nice. I've got the Agostini rear rack too. The LaFranconi exhaust looks good as well.

What's not to like? Very nice, and well done video. :thumb:

Well done, Chris. Looks great! :thumb: I've been considering a rear rack and really like the look of the Agostini on your bike.
I have a question: I got the tank pads for my black '15 Stone but I haven't put them on yet and I wonder if you have any advice. I've gathered from other posts on WG that I'm supposed to clean/prep the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol (to remove all the Plexus...) and apply them with the bike upright so they're not lop-sided. No problems there. But what I really want to know is how to position them. I've seen pictures (though not many) and can probably eyeball it well enough, but any more specific advice would be welcome. I just feel like it's going to be trickier on the black tank and I really want to get it right. Thanks!

Thanks sign216. I'm so glad they made the rear rack in black as I think it flows nicely with the bike. The exhaust was put on the bike when I got it and I didn't even know what it was going to sound like...I took my dealer/mechanics word for it that it would look and sound nice...so glad that I did it.

Hey Kim,
Thanks and congrats on your new 2015 v7. To be honest with you, the dealer ordered the pads for me and when I picked them up, they asked me if I wanted them to install them (no charge)...I said sure and watched them do it...they merely cleaned the tank with a water/soap mix and let it dry completely. They then hoisted the bike up to eye level and installed them by eye...it was a one shot install and it all looked very easy and straight forward...I guess they may have done this more than once...lol. I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Chris

Beautiful!
Two questions to you sir:
1. Assuming the seat in the video is the new "OEM" seat from Garage series, how do you like it? Is it softer than the stock? Lower, wider, thinner etc?
2. Rizoma handlebars, are they different (except for color obviously) from the stock?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks, Chris. That does help. I think I'm going to give it a try this weekend.

Hey jprodun,
Thanks,
The seat is very similar to the stock in terms of firmness and overall height. I find that it is slightly wider but not a huge difference. Overall I like the look and feel!
In terms of the hadlebars...they are very similar in shape/size to stock ones...I actually liked the stock bars and went with these ones merely because I liked the black color.
I hope that helps...Cheers,
Chris

Chris, that is beautiful! Well done!
I love the sound of the exhaust and the look of the 1.5 sear and rear rack.
