Is there anyway to "bookmark" a thread other than writing down the name of the thread so you can find it later. The search does work, but would like an easier way. the search can be cumbersome at times. :embarrassed:

I asked the same question. It would be great to be able to bookmark topics here for future reference,

This is a medium-tech solution:
I keep a Word document for each motorcycle with my maintenance history.
At the end of the history, I keep notes about what I want to do next (or "someday"). That's where I paste in links to threads that I want to refer to.
I think I have about 10 different links to "Exploding Scura Clutch Decimates Small City." Try searching for "Scura Clutch". You'll find more than you want to know...

i made a separate folder in my bookmarks for each bike, plus a general file. Keeps my bookmarks bar uncluttered...
I have a Small Block file, a breva/Norge/Sport file, an ambo file, and a catch-all
I will say the search through google is not quite as maddening as the older search function.
One big problem is that sometimes people dont exactly match their thread titles to their thread content... or it drifts over time...

You can hit the "notify" button at the top of the thread you want to jeep track of. You will then get notification of any new postings, but you can also locate that thread by going into your profile, under "modify profile". There you will find a list of all the threads for which you have asked for notification. Its cumbersome, but it works.
Hope this helps
