The link below describes another advance in battery technology.  Dyson (vacuum cleaners) has invested several million in a small development company in the USA that is developing real SOLID STATE batteries that contain no liquids.  (even lithium ion batteries contain liquid) The advanced technology promises up to 1100 Whr/l, several times what the best batteries of today can provide.  Carry a spare battery in your wallet just in case.  Jurgen
