Title: My oil pan 75 850 T

   Greetings from Northern Wisconsin

  Yesterday I went to take the oil pan off the 850 , I removed 14 screws and 4 more from the bottom .   Did I miss something .?
How tight can this gasket be ?   
   Do I need a bigger hammer ?    Hope not .

   Too bad I was ready to give it a good fresh oil ride , it was 70 deg here ,  Gadzooks !

No filter, so put the bolts and plug back in and ride.

Look at the front of the oil pan if you see 3 plugs slightly  smaller than a dime your
Engine has a filter no plugs no filter. But the pan that old may have been  modified

some doofus probably use gasket goo and now it's glued on.  warm it up good and tap on the front w/a rubber mallet.

Notice the OP said 14 around the perimeter and 4 more on the bottom. Only filter engines have that configuration.

Use a long pry bar with the tip against the bellhousing and the shaft against the drain plug (threaded all the way in and tight). That should break it loose even if someone has glued the pan on.

Thanks Charley.     Will try the bar method .   And  true,   it is a late 75 with deep sump.   I dont recall using any sealer on gasket last filter change .
