the internet says something about graphics like black gauges and racing pegs?

I'm hoping for a dry enough day here soon to test ride one.

I think it has a black instrument binnacle rather than the faux chrome one on the 'Standard' bikes, not certain as the binnacle on mine was smashed to smithereens. No idea what the go is with the pegs? They look the same as any other 8V Griso pegs to me.

Basically all the G8's are pretty much the same apart from wire wheels and a few detail differences up until this year when the engine got the 1400 sump, filter etc.

Is the Binnacle just aft of the Poop Deck? My instrument panel has a black back. The rest of the bike is black with a silver tank with black tape stripes on it. Its distinctive looking.

So is it a factory moniker or just what customers called the black frame models?

Factory would call it 'diavolo nero'
I suspect this years is called 'diavolo roso'

I'm pretty sure it's the paint scheme and not the frame.

The GRISO BLACK DEVIL refers to the silver/black 8v SE. The name is Homage to Tommaso Omobono Tenni, famed racer for Moto Guzzi.

I should point out that the term "Black devil" has been determined politically incorrect in the US of A and so is not used. It really doesn't matter what the original intent was.

sheesh
