$80k ?
It's not for sale.
It's on public display.
-
I wanted one bad- 15 years ago. I put money down for one but never got it. ( Got my money back, though.)
I got over it. Nice piece of history.
-
Looking at how catty-whompus the LH bar end is..they'll be lucky to get $78K. (Nice bike!)
-
A couple of years ago, Jim Barron of Rose Farm (has one) said you could still get one from the factory for 42 large up front. Rummaged around in my couch cushions, and came up a little short.
-
and 50 pieces is wrong, 126 are made. Factory made no money on them. But was a nice showpice to sell Guzzi to Piaggio
-
Just another overpriced murdersickle.
-
Who's freakin' garage is that! Ducat SS bevel, Laverda SFC and a whole lot more!!
-
Looks like a MV 750 America lurkin' in the back ground too. Geez,, I need new friends with money.
-
If I win powerball tomorrow it will be my first purchase on Sunday.
-
There's a rider in the SF Bay area who ride's his MGS-01 legally. I've seen it 2X when he came to our Guzzi breakfasts. Think they cost $23K when new.
-
I saw one and sat on it at the factory last year. The experience made me realize that, at 6-2, the bike was too small for me. Sour grapes?

I sat on a Britten a few years ago and found out the same thing........maybe if I was 5'7" instead of 5'10"......... :undecided: Have also ridden a `93 Daytona.

Radical guzzi in Germany has one for sale , one of the 10 street legal bikes, 3500 Km , 30K euros .
-
Seems unlikely to sell at the price, but lots of watchers!
-
Link?
Don't Worry i found it, if it goes for close to that kind of money mine might be a little more that just a grand self indulgence.
-
Just sort by highest price first. Right up there.
-
what is "original MSO"? thanks,
Nate
-
"Manufacturers Statement of Origin".
-
If I had 80k to blow on a bike, it would be that one.

Wow, I sat on one over at OC Motorsports (when they were still in business). $24K and it was too expensive for me. But if I knew I could triple my money by now.....
-
Don't we need to know the fuel capacity-MPG, etc?
I was wondering about its suitability as a touring bike

Slightly better than it is at running around town and daily commuting.

Better off getting a kit from Ghezzi & Brian. You can probably buy 4 G&B kits and maybe 4 used v11s for that and still have 30k left over...

But you would not have an MGS-01...
I love the V11s, but kitting a V11 to look like an MGS-01 is about like kitting a Nissan 280Z to look like a Ferrari 250 GTO.
There is a difference.

Troppo costano

Yeah , I see an MV Augusta , don't see the Laverda .

If I had $80k to blow on a bike, I'd have probably blown it already. (shrugs shoulders & pulls out pants pockets)
