It won't last long at $1500.00 , even though it is a bit rough . Not the most desirable Duc , but still ...

Worth a hell of lot more than 1500. I'd run over with cash if I were closer

The Ducati Darmah (Tiger).

I had one for several years.

It was an attempt by Ducati to parlay its 900SS engine into a mainstream road bike with creature comforts to go head-to-head with the BMW models of the day.

The extra weight and the mild tuning of the Darmah made it play second fiddle to the hot performance characteristics of the 900SS ( I had one of those at the same time). Still, the Darmah was a nice bike.

Ducati had fit an electric start to the kick-start 900 square case motor that incorporated a one-way Sprague clutch into the starter drive mechanism. These mechanisms were known to cause problems and need replacing.

Considerably more than the spam, considerably less than they're asking on the bay..
