Title: Vintage Moto Guzzi Key Fobs
Post by: keuka4884 on November 24, 2015, 12:01:54 PM
I don't know if this has been posted before, but I found a great site for vintage key fobs, Moto Guzzi included. While looking around for a vintage Jaguar key fob I happened on this site in the UK. What a site! Gobs of fobs from many manufacturers. The link is to the Moto Guzzi page and lists all the manufacturers to the right. I landed the long teardrop Guzzi fob for my 78 T3. Yes!
They will take any emblem you like and make a leather fob design of your choosing. Lots of leather colors to choose from. The emblems were made in a small shop in the UK around 1980. True vitreous enamel. Nice. I have spent a lot of time browsing the other manufacturers emblems. So if you have a vintage Guzzi, or for that matter any vintage bike, this is a worthwhile site to visit. Enjoy.

I had one of the red and yellow fobs I got off eBay. All the so-called enamel fell off after 1 month. May have been counterfeit, don't remember the seller.

I'm glad I've still got my 'original' - I'm 32 quid better off now.

Didn't know they were "vintage".  I bought a bunch and when I was buying some other stuff awhile back.

It's not necessary to be in the market for one to admire them. Especially other motorcycle brands.
And besides, I've paid more than that for a terrible dinner at a mediocre restaurant. More than once. But this Christmas we get to visit our daughter and her hubby in Jersey City and go to Keen's in Manhattan! No wasted money there.
This will be the third special dinner we have had. 2 years ago it was Peter Luger's and last year it was Les Halles for steak tartare.

The fobs are true vitreous enamel, not the sprayed on Chinese junk. Take a look at Ariel, BSA and Vincent. nice stuff.

No need to get racial.  If it's junk it's junk.  In case you're wondering, I'm Chinese by heritage.
