Title: Back rest for my Nevada
Post by: skromfols on November 27, 2015, 09:15:32 AM
I was unable to find anyone who made a drivers back rest for the Nevada, so I decided to have one made.  I started with a metal fabricator, then took the frame to a chrome shop and finally took the piece to an upholster that I trust.  I think it come out looking great and should solve my problem with lower back aches on long rides.

looks like you've added alot of storage room, too, on the back seat...what kind of distance do you make with the Nevada?

About 120 miles up in the mountains before I have to start looking for a station.  My longest stretch is usually from my home to Gardnerville, Nv for lunch and that's about 120 miles.  My fuel light is on just about the time I get there.
