Title: fork cap nut size UPDATE

All

I need to know what is the size of the fork cap nut for a 2K Jackal  EV, etc. i want to but the exact socket not just whatever i have that fits.

I would measure it in case your model is different to others.

Also, you should consider whether you can fit a socket on without removing the handlebars.  I think I've had to use a large flat ring spanner for this reason.

Understand. i am at work and forgot to measure. i wanted to get a socket on my way home. It will fit (barley without taking the bars of)f if i remember correctly

On my 98EV, the hex top is 36mm.  However, the 98 has adjustable damping and that might not be the case with your model.  Also, by visual inspection, I seriously doubt there is adequate room to fit the socket wall around the hex with the handlebar in place.  Take a chance and buy the 36.  Just be sure you can take it back and exchange it if you find your size is different.

The Hex nut (Fork Cap nut) for a 2000 jackal non adjustable forks are 30mm. And yeas a socket does fit.
