For some reason when I click on the icons, nothing happens. Is there a setting to enable them?

Sometimes, Chrome doesn't work for whatever reason since the latest upgrade. I've read of issues here with Safari. Firefox is reliable for me.

PC skills lacking, went to windows 10 when the problem started, not sure what to do now.

If you are using Chrome or Edge, sometimes the buttons above don't work. If you are on Win 10, go to the menu in the upper right and open it in the old Internet Explorer, the buttons appear to always work with IE. I like Edge but it still has some glitches like that.
Or just type the tags.
just type IMG ahead of the image location string, and /IMG after it. put [] around the IMG and /IMG. As you see in fotos photos above. Easy enough.

This forum (and most all others) uses BBCode to format posts.  It's similar to HTML, but meant for quick posts.

Anyway, for far more options than is in the wildgoose menu of icons, look here:

The site contains plenty of examples for posting photographs and much more.
