Title: Full stainless exhaust -- Guzzitech
Post by: Lcarlson on December 13, 2015, 11:20:10 PM
Does anybody have experience with this product? One thing I've always disliked about cruisers is the practice of using cheap metal exhaust pipes with chrome covers. The covers look fine while the functional pipes turn to irreplaceable rust (DAMHIK). The Guzzitech full stainless system would appear to be the solution, but I'd like to hear from anybody who has it.

I have one on my 2013 V7 Stone.  Looks great, sounds great (to me) and saves weight as well.  Does not save money though  :thewife:

Here is a link to a youtube video I made to document the sound of the exhaust.

I didn't have the full system, but I did have a GT R/S exhaust on my 2009 Griso. It was annoyingly loud, and still very loud with the db killer installed. Guzzitech will also want you to reflash your ECU as well, and that'll be a few hundred extra.

I put a black version on my V7C when he first started offering them.  It has held up well, sounds great.  It is a lot lighter weight than the stock exhaust as well.  The black coating is very durable too.  I scratched it when I was installing the exhaust, putting safety wire on the exhaust flange nuts.  That was two years ago.  Those are still the only scratches on it.
I just ordered another set for my V7 Racer, in stainless this time.
