A different view.  The wood shack is a toll booth.

My wife was born in Innsbruck and we go there to visit her aunt. It is very beautiful three. But be careful speeding is strictly verboten. Tickets are very expensive and if you are going too fast, they Will impound your vehicle.

The beauty of the road is the views and it's one lane.  Going the speed limit is still faster than cars that are stopped or the bus going the other way.

I was in Austria last year and rode several roads in that area that look much like the Youtube post.  Great place. Beautiful scenery.  Great roads.

If you find yourself in the Innsbruck area, I highly recommend the Hotel Bierwirt in Innsbruck-

Check some of the road pics on this version of the site-

The owner, Hannes Happ, is an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and owner of several bikes that he stores and proudly shows at the hotel. Nice rooms, great restaurant.

Hannes also co-authored a sizable book Harley Davidson in Austria that he sells at the front desk. He has made trips to the USA to visit, you guessed it, Milwaukee.
