Title: Twin 12 Volt accessory outlets for mounting on handlebbars?
Post by: willowstreetguzziguy on December 21, 2015, 10:08:27 AM
I've searched, looking for a twin 12 V accessory outlet that I could mount to my handlebars to plug in GPS, phone, radar detector,  etc.  The closest thing I've seen is a 12V outlet with a USB outlet.  Need to have cap/cover for weather. Anybody know where I could find one?

Amazon for online. West Marine for in store.
Or; just put one next to the other and retain some flexibility.

If you get two of the screw in type power sockets a plate to connect them together is easy to make if you have a hand drill. A small piece of ABS, drill two holes insert the sockets and sceww down the retainers that come with them, done.

I made one a while back, can post the pic if it would help you. Use a piece if scrap from the plastics store, often free so no cost to make it up.

Cycle gear has them for about $7.  You're talking about the a cigarette socket?

I've put them on all my bikes to run a Slime air pump.
