I contacted them and they'd be happy to convert your Tonti Guzzi for a paltry $10,000 complete. Yours would be their prototype for Guzzis. Right now they're mostly converting Harleys.

Leaning sidecar rig ain't the same as a leaning trike when it comes to cornering or anything else. :wink:

As long as you're adding an extra wheel might as well make it a sidecar that leans.

Single track vehicles, like motorcycles need to lean. Multi track vehicles, like cars, trucks, sidecars and trikes do not. Added complexity may make it more fun, but won't make it actually corner better. If it did, sports cars would have leaning wheels.

I believe all cars and trucks do have a limited amount to lean to the front wheels when the steering wheel is turned.

I've been trying to re-find the link with no luck, but a local fellow converted a dirt bike to four wheels and the whole thing leaned. Gobs of suspension travel too. I'd love to convert my 650L to it (getting too dang top heavy to pick when it takes a nap).

My MP3 corners better in the sense it gives you more confidence that the front end won't slide out on you + in wet conditions the front end is as stable as on a car. Actual speed thru a corner you might be right, but that also depends on the skill of the rider. So to me a leaning trike is the best of both worlds. :boozing:

Aye like it but would like it better if they offered a dual sport model.
The Norwegans did one a few years ago with 690cc. It was awesome, but so was the price.

You have to remember it's very low volume. 10000k is reasonable for what is essentially a prototype. Only worth it for someone who for some reason or other can't ride a normal bike although even then they would almost certainly want to pay extra for tilt lock and the option of an MP3/Fuoco probably fits the bill better. It's for people with friends who ride Harley's who can no longer ride Harley's themselves.
I don't need on myself but we should be glad this company exists. I hope they can make a business out of this.

Depends on geometry-some more than others. Centrifugal forces combined with counter steering is why bikes lean into the turn. Balancing of forces. Wide track four wheel vehicles do the same- they lean away from the direction of steering input and some use anti-roll torsion bars to actually raise the inside wheel. Tire friction forces the front end to comply with input. I wonder how may crashes and near misses occur in a panic when 40 years of riding with counter steering takes over.

Doesn't even come into your mind since the front end feels different. My MP3 also stops faster with 3 disc brakes on more rubber touching the road than a bike has and the front end doesn't squat down much either like a MC does.

My MP3 corners better
MP3 is a trike that needs to lean, am I right? I'm thinking the two front wheels are too close together, to be workable without the lean. To look at it another way, a leaning design allows a multi track vehicle to get closer to a single track, while enjoying equal or better corner stability.
