While browsing Craigslist I found this little nugget - v7 sport price but not really a v7 sport anymore? Certainly a fine bike either way. Let's hear from the experts (and the rest of us too)!

30 thousand invested
24 thousand thrown away.
Fixed it for him. Sorry, but it'll take a real V7 sport to bring 12.5 large, IMHO.

Remember what PT Barnum said. This maybe the best time of year to sell a bike, but sooner or later a sucker-er....uninformed person will come along

Lol! I was wondering about that number, it just doesn't sound right. Wasn't Hinton where an S3 and a whole room full of Italian collectible bikes went up for sale a year or so back? Oklahoma Italian bike Mecca? EDIT: found the Hinton link, looks to be the same seller who had the s3 http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=51858.0

Yeah , every so often this guy puts a couple of bikes on CL in several cities asking stupid money . It's funny , until the summer of 2014 when a Guzzi rider from Australia riding across US stumbled across this guy , not even any of us Okies had seen any of the collection .
Oh , and $30K invested , really

Seems like a whole lot of dough to spend to make a great bike much less valuable. Pretty though, can't be too many left side pedal rear disc mods like that around

OK, not a V7 Sport but a 1975 wasn't really one anyway, right?
And if it had puked badly maybe this seemed sensible. And I bet it is a whole lot of fun to ride!

More than likely it started life as an 850T. It has a lot of Sport parts on it. It's just not worth that kind of money.
You can buy this bike for 4500.00...

Aaron, it's a 75 850T with a filter. The bike is solid and runs great. Need four piston Brembo calipers and rotors, 36 mm PHF carbs, Tank Shop fuel tank and a lot more. It does still have chrome bores though.
