Title: Christmas Day Ride
Post by: Cam3512 on December 25, 2015, 08:11:22 PM
Took off for a 100 mile blast between Santa and the entire family for dinner today.  75* out in South Jersey, I was almost too warm in my leather jacket and open face helmet.  Stopped for lunch at the Mays Landing Diner, then roamed the Pine barrens for a couple hours.  Merry Christmas to all, and bring on Global Warming!

PS - The days ARE getting longer!

Your Ambo is looking nice!      Nice sign too.

And,  :boozing: to the days getting longer!   Bring on spring.

In the meantime, if winter means 60 degrees, just a long sleeve T-shirt under the Aerostich and non-insulated gloves on Christmas, I'll take it!

Merry Christmas, everyone!   (and Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends!).

A friend owns an old school cycle shop (former flat-tracker) at that corner.  He sells racing gas.  It's my mission to own half of that sign at some point in the future.  It would look nice on my garage wall.

It is unusually warm here in Europe, too.

In fact, we had a Phoenix Christmas, just like the ones I used to know.(no snow) I could have gone for a ride, but, I haven't got the new battery for my bike yet....

Cam, is that a siren I see on your bike??

Yep, electric.  Would love to have a B&M friction, the frame still has the bracket.

We rode 50 miles on Christmas Eve, I got a tiny Christmas ride too-and a few miles on the bicycle.

Some bulbs are thinking about sprouting, buds are swelling-though I love the nice weather I hope it doesn't mess up the crops.

I see that. Might have to tiddle around on my Stornello tomorrow.

Took the Scout out for a bit today, probably the last ride of 2015 for it. Great post-Christmas surprise.
