Just got this from my Brother on his way to Palm Springs,
Couple traffic delays due to high water. So I am holed up in a restaurant in Okmulgee or something like that.

If he is traveling I 40 he may very well be in Okmulgee , 50 miles or so SXSW from me . He also might be in a world of hurt , snow and Ice in front of him , along with strong winds . We are getting powerful T storms right now , temps in the 50's . A couple of small twisters moved by earlier . Hope he makes it West of the Rockies before the weather gets too bad .

Wizard of Oz. What a great movie.
“Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again.”

DFW metro got nailed a couple hours ago. Garland and Rowlett.
The nasty stuff in NWA went north and west of F'ville. Right over Luap in SWMO.
that nasty cell that hit Rowlett is making its way across SEOK towards NWA. Should be here in a couple hours. Not looking forward to it.

Rainy weekend!
Still raining here in NWA. Lots of flooding and closed roads/bridges, but thankfully no tornadoes like NE Texas and South Arkansas got. What a mess those folks are having to clean up!
We've gotten more rain from storms in the past, but this weekend really topped off the year.
Most cities/towns around here have year rainfall totals that have broken records set in the 1950s. 72-inches of rain is a rainy year, even here!

Yeah , 80 miles west we are at 80 inches for the year , just about double the average rainfall . Talihina has had 85 inches , thankfully very little during the Okie
