We are headed to Bisbee. Any suggestions on roads NOT to take? We are pressed for time to get there! We were just gonna mapquest it. It shows 3 routes which 2 are similar?

Heavy snow here in Santa Fe: 4 to 8 in forecast, but there's already 3 in on the ground. Roads are treacherous and a lot of people on the road don't know how to drive in the snow. This is storm Goliath--it may snow here into Sunday evening.

If you go via New Jersey you'll be okay.

Rich A,
Heading your way Monday night. I'm in Cedar Rapids IA tonight. I was gonna go KC-Wichita-OK City-Amarillo Tx...yep the middle of it.
Now I'm going thru KC to Hays, KS Sunday night and have reservations in Santa Fe Monday night....you'll be all plowed out when I arrive!
PS: I'm pulling a Wing on a bike trailer for "ballast".

Straight South to the 10, go West to Lordsburg, NM. Take 80 South to Douglas/Bisbee. My dog ate my Bisbee vest. so sad. R3~

When we moved here we took I35 to Dallas, I20 and I10 to El Paso (water in Odess is really bad). Then for you, I10 to Benson, then south to Bisbee.

Go south of Chicago and pickup old route 66, follow it all the way to Zona. It's a leisurely pace but memorable.

I'm going over the top of it today. We're past Topeka, KS with dry roads and no snow yet. Tonight it will pass to the east of me while i rest in Hays, KS. I can head south to Santa Fe tomorrow and see what all the talk has been about. The snow tires are ready to "claw" if needed. A Goldwing on a trailer is a magnet for taking iPhone photo's of as I pass.....yes, solid pulling at 80 mph on the Kendon.

We are headed to Bisbee.
Lucky you. In a different life Bisbee was to be our retirement home. Almost bought a duplex there to use one half as a weekender and then retirement and rent the other side out. Regards to the Copper Queen.
