While cleaning up in the garage today, I drug out the Cortech luggage for the Quota from the locker and placed them on the bike. (Haven't used them in years). I didn't realize until just now how faded some parts were. Some places from red to orange. Has anyone used a dye, fabric paint or other material to help hide the fade. According to Cortech, the luggage is constructed of 1680 denier ballistic polyester and 1800 denier twill Jacquard.
The material may be too slick to treat and I know I will probably have to live with it, but thought I would ask.
Thanks

Give that red Cortech enough sun and it will end up silver in color. I have (had) a red Cortech jacket.

I have a semi rigid top box that's covered in some sort of black fabric. It faded to a purple color almost immediately, despite being ultra-expensive. Forum consensus appears to be that they all do that, so I bought some fabric spray paint from Hobby Lobby and painted it in the hopes it would once again match my saddle bags. Turned out great. Almost a perfect match. That was black, though. I think you might be screwed with red, though it's worth a shot. Piece of advice- if you use that fabric paint wear gloves and don't paint it on your garage floor.
