All,
Ms. LD pointed out to me an iPhone feature. If you look for the health icon (white with red heart), then go to Medical ID (right, lower button) you can add your and family/friend name and address information for emergency contacts. You can also add your health condition, and age data. An emergency responder can directly access this information.
I always keep a paper ID tag in my riding jacket, but in our new digital culture, responders apparently look for iPhone and other smart phones for data--can be opened without a security code.
Anyway, there you are. I continue frustrated about our crappy cold/windy/wet weather. Got the itch bad. El Nino is strongly affecting our weather patterns. This too shall pass.

I use the dashboard all the time.. what's your daily walking distance? I have average over 2015 of 5.48 miles a day (thanks to my dog).

Thanks LD, all sorted now , thanks for the heads up :thumb:

I have found the iPhone Health app grossly under estimates my walking (compared to a Fitbit and measuring off of google maps) so I ditched it in favor of google maps. However; I got a Fitbit for Christmas so...... :p
But I was unaware of the contacts feature (how do they get there if your phone is locked?).

My Samsung shows that I have walked 20 or 30 miles a day when I have it attached to the handlebars as a GPS.
So riding a Guzzi must be healthy.

When you set it up, there is a button to turn on that "show when locked" is enabled.

In your contact list you can also add entries with ICE at the beginning. These indicate the people you want contacted in an emergency. Just in case the responders don't know about little red hearts :) I do both, and, do set up the app to be available without unlocking. Works on all phones, not just Apple.
