Took this picture this morning soon after dawn on a damp cloudy morning. It was about 150 yards behind my house. Guessing from the size it is a buck that has dropped his antlers. One of the biggest deer I have seen. Deer season recently closed so guess he survived. They don't get that big by being dumb.

Eat as many as you can, as fast as you can. That looks like a corn fed deer.
Save a biker, eat a deer.

You call that a deer? Huh...
As I am not a hunter, I would be happy if any of you would like to come harvest these two guys out of my back yard...

SE Michigan. This is the back yard of a house in town. The city has hired sharpshooters to come into the city parks at night to cull the herd. I hope they process the harvest for various good causes.

So would that be Ann Arbor? I was reading about the residents complaining about the sharpshooters.

Yes - AA. Not all residents are complaining but it is a very polarizing issue. After I took the picture of these two bucks, I was doing some work in the house. When I came out there were 8 doe and little ones laying in the same area. Earlier this year I saw 5 bucks together but did not have my camera. They are thick in some areas and going hungry because they have have literally eaten all of the vegetation.
Lots of different solutions have been proposed but the current plan is high velocity lead poisoning.

North Oaks, north of St. Paul has used bow hunters in the past.
