Greetings!
As you may recall, my first Norge was destroyed by a speeding school teacher. I managed to salvage the stock Moto Guzzi top box but not the mounting plate/bracket.
I now have another, identical Norge. (Yes, despite the hand-wringing on this site and the opportunity I had to not look back, I bought another one--I love Moto Guzzi and the Norge in particular!) Unfortunately, I do not have a mounting plate or bracket for it. (Moto International is attempting to track one down for me, but I thought I might be able to speed things up.) What exactly do I need? Is it this?

This is the top box that I have (but in white):

That won't work Jeff. You need the MG mount as it has the tabs on which the top box slots slide over to keep it on.
If you don't plan on taking it on and off frequently you could drop some bolts through, putting rubber washers between the metal ones on the inside and that would work. What won't work after that is the quick release via key.

I believe I have the bars that attach to the bike and the plate that the trunk secures to. I will check and get back to you.

Thanks, guys!
