Title: Just dropped my California off at the dealer for some maintenance.
Post by: K250 on January 23, 2016, 03:18:27 PM
Just dropped my California off at the dealer for some maintenance.  They are having a Facebook Wintertime parts and labor special, so took it on in for some work that has been on the "need to do someday" list.  The place was really busy for a winter day.   Several other people dropping off bikes for service work. The owner was on the sales floor with a serious looking customer.   Exceptional selection of bikes in stock!   A 1400 custom, several varieties of V7, a Griso, a Norge.    Must have been 20 Ducati's and even more Yamaha's.    For a brief moment I considered what a V7 with dual sport tires might be like on the mostly flat and smooth Kansas gravel roads.   Had a little BBQ next door with a good friend and went home.  New Cycle World magazine in the mail box.   Not a bad Saturday so far.

So.......did you go to Jack's Stack for BBQ? I can never make up my mind to go there or Jess & Jim's for a steak.

John that is right, went to Jack Stack.  Excellent place!  Very good.  Agree with you on Jess and Jim's.   Looked down the street, saw their sign,  and thought, "life is short I need to go eat there again soon."
