Is the record kit available?
I'm considering picking up a Racer and doing it up
Just doing the math now to determine if its feasible
I'm not a fan of the kit seat and I may go with an aftermarket fairing
Maybe an820 kit plus silencers etc

AF1 no longer lists the Record Fairing, so, it is likely NLA.
They still do list the seat + tail section; no surprise there, as like you, I don't like it, and maybe others felt the same and only bought the fairing.
Last August when I contacted WaltR @ Europa Macchina (our local dealer) to see if he could get me one, he said that there were only a few left listed in stock at the distributor. I ordered one right way. Now that they are NLA, I'm glad I did!

Another manufacturer, Stucci, I believe, made a similar fairing. I recall seeing a picture of a lime-green Cafe Classic on this form a while back that had one -- it looked great.

perfect look!

jas67 - would you consider selling your spocked wheel rims- if you still have them?
-
AF1 told me it is out of production. Unobtanium. I missed my chance.
-
Or anyone else for that matter looking to sell spoked wheel rims that fit a MG V7 stone 2014.

I don't have them, never did. I bought the bike from WG member Adan with the Stone cast wheels already on it.
I would actually like to get a set of the original wire wheels with the red hubs for it.
I'm also considering swapping the cast wheels to the Special and the Special's wire wheels onto the Racer.

Try Jim Hamlin at Hamlin Cycles-a MG dealer. I know he's swapped wheels ona V7 racer and may have a set of spooked wheels in his shop.
Located in CT.

Stucchi Luigi manufacturers and sells a fairing kit very much like the Record. I have one on my 2011 V7R:

The kit is available from MG Cycle (http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=287&products_id=4407).

I didn't like the seat at first and kept it in the box for the first year. Then I decided to stripe the fairing and the seat lined up so perfect I thought I'd give it a try. It's really grown on me in the year since.

That's the one that I was thinking of.
Looking at the pictures of the mounting brackets, I wonder if Stucchi Luigi made the Record fairing for Guzzi. The mounting brackets look identical.

It looks to me that Stucchi was a supplier of accessory parts to MG as well as making variants under their own name. Many of the cool accessories offered by MG disappeared after the demise of Stucchi. I have seen no reporting on this subject and I am just speculating from my observations.

If you buy my 2012 V7R with a Breva 750 wheel conversion I'll throw in the stock spoke wheels for free.

That's a generous offer, but, I've already got a V7R and a V7S.

I believe this is the answer. Stucchi made the Record fairing, Stucchi is out of business = no V7 fairings. I think I'll put a request into Todd at GuzziTech to see if he might fab something up. He seems to be the only one making new stuff available these days.

Stucchi has been "reorganized" as L.G.C. srl: http://lgccompany.it/en/

But you don't have a black tank dual throttle body model.
