Does anyone know if there will be a "Fools on the Hill" this year in Arkansas? Even something informal? Dates? Have to go visit my brother and would like to coordinate dates.

For a long time, the event has been the last full weekend of winter.
This year, the equinox is March 20.
To my knowledge, Mario is done with hosting the event, and Jim King may be there.
However, you might email them for an official answer:

Jim King - jsking1@cox.net

All, I know there have been questions about this. Today, I received this email:
Greetings fools!!!
My name is Kevin Pearce. Mario Caruso who usually announces the Fools on a Hill event has become busy with work and life, so I am helping, because I can.
Normally the event is scheduled for the weekend before the Spring Equinox, which is in about two weeks. Because of the short notice, this year, and this year only, we will break with tradition and observe an April Fools on a Hill event at the Mount Nebo campground from Friday April 1st through Sunday April 3rd.
Attached is a map of the campground. You may want to reserve a campsite ASAP because the campground tends to fill up fast. The campsites cost $20 per night and they allow two tents on each site. The check in / check out time is 3 pm. The phone number for the campground is 479-229-3655.
Feel free to forward this e-mail to your bike riding foolish friends, the more the merrier!!!
Let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Kevin

You don't have to twist my arm to get me to ride to Arkansas. I will try to make it.

Not sure who will be there. Will be a mixed group of BMW, Guzzi, and Honda riders, as it usual.
I'm not planning on being there this year, but may show up if the weather is nice.
We'll see.

Rocker,
Way back in the mid 90's didn't they have it in Feb. for few years?
-
Yes, they had it in feb for many years. One year it was so cold thee water for coffee froze and it was in Mac and Ann's tent
another year we had to wait for the sun to come out and melt the ice on the curves on the way down.
A beautiful place that you should see. Some only go once as the steep curved road scares them off for good.
